I’ve loved motorcycles since I was a kid, but never bought one until I was in my 30s. I feel like I’m playing catch up, skill-wise, with the guys who rode as kids. I think there is something that is learned that has passed me by. But the beautiful thing is that I’ve made a peace with that. Oh, sure, I had moments when I fantasized that I would have such incredible natural skill that I would be able to make a living from racing MotoGP bikes. But I came to my senses pretty early on. And I think that I am able to enjoy it more than I otherwise would.
